I am Carla McCray, owner of The Lazy Wino and proud Oenophile, and I want to help you become one too!

What began as a simple quest for healthier living by adding red wine to my diet has now blossomed into a full-blown passion for all things wine & champagne. I am a dedicated WSET (Wine, Spirits, Education, & Trust) level 3 certification student, and a (CCS) Certified Champagne Specialist.

At The Lazy Wino, I believe that truly enjoying a glass of wine or champagne goes far beyond the brand or common styles. It's about understanding your palate and discovering how to match it with the perfect flavor profiles. My mission is to share this knowledge and enthusiasm with you, while helping you to explore and appreciate wine in a whole new way.
